Parking will be available in South Valley (see map for all campus parking). A shuttle service will be provided for both areas, and will run until 6pm. Parking will be free of charge on a first-come first-served basis. Accessible parking is available in the Alumni Hall parking lot.

For additional information, please visit the Arrival and Assembly page.

Regalia Pickup for Graduates:

  • Graduates must rent regalia on-site if they did not preorder.
  • Doors open daily at 7:30 a.m.
  • For afternoon graduates, regalia should be picked up after 10:30 a.m. to allow the morning ceremony graduates to pick up their regalia before graduation.

Regalia Returns:

  • Regalia must be returned by 6:00 p.m. to your drop off location.

Graduating Students must go, with their regalia, to their line up location, no later than 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to the ceremony.

Leave personal belongings with relatives prior to entering the line up location, or they must be left with an attendant in the line up location.
You and your guests must leave behind any posters, signs, or flags. They are not permitted in Alumni Hall.
Graduates will be given instructions regarding the procession at this time. Western encourages all students to celebrate their Convocation day with friends and family, however, only those individuals eligible to graduate are permitted to cross the stage. Note: Graduates with accessibility needs where additional support is required will be accommodated.
You may ask the orator assigned to your row about reviewing the pronunciation of your name once you receive your name card.

Pick up your degree after your Convocation ceremony.

For those convocating in the morning ceremony, you will be able to pickup your degree beginning at 11:00 a.m.

For those convocating in the afternoon ceremony, you will be able pickup your degree beginning at 3:00 p.m.
