Important Dates and Deadlines

These dates and deadlines are primarily for undergraduate students. Graduate students should refer to the sessional dates outlined in the SGPS Regulation 1.01 Calendar of Events.

* Note: Any of the following deadlines that occur on a Saturday, Sunday or Statutory holiday will be extended to the next working day.

  • Deadline for official transcripts for courses taken on Letters of Permission during the academic year 2023-24 and the Spring/Summer Terms of 2024

December 2

  • Last day to withdraw from a full (1.0) course and full-year half (0.5) course resulting in a grade of ‘WDN’ (withdrawn, without academic penalty). Course withdrawals after this date will appear on a transcript with a grade of ‘F’
  • Second installment of tuition fees due for undergraduate students

  • Last day to add your SIN to your Student Center to ensure proper processing of tax forms

  • Deadline to declare a Discovery Credit for a Fall (first-term) course

  • Deadline to apply for February In Absentia Convocation

  • Deadline to apply for relief against a final grade in a Fall/Winter first-term course

  • Last day to drop to part time status or identify as a “per course” student
