Graduates Attending their Convocation Ceremony

Review the convocation checklist to ensure you are prepared for your convocation day. Check the Order of Convocation for ceremony dates and times.

Students attending the convocation in person will receive their diploma at the ceremony.

Graduating, but not attending the ceremony

Graduating students who cannot attend the ceremony have several options to get their diploma.

  • Pick up at Student Central three days after their convocation ceremony date
  • Request to have it mailed
  • Student Central will hold their diploma for up to two years until you attend a future ceremony as a "walk-on".

Please note that transcripts will not show the degree until after the convocation date.

For Students Graduating In Absentia

Students who graduated in In Absentia can download this statement for VISA applications to attend the ceremony.

For Graduates Within the Last 2 Years

Graduates from the past two years can participate in the Spring or Autumn in-person ceremonies as a "walk-on". There are limited walk-on spots for each ceremony, so advance registration is required.

More information about registering as a walk-on is available on the FAQ page
