Welcome to eCampus Ontario at Western

Welcome to the Western landing page for the eCampus Ontario portal. This site will provide applicants who are interested in registering in Western courses listed on the eCampus Ontario website with information on things like course enrollment, student finances, student records, as well as Student Central’s hours of operation.

What is the eCampus Ontario?

eCampusOntario is a not-for-profit corporation whose membership is composed of all publicly-assisted colleges and universities in Ontario.  Funded by the Government of Ontario to advance its vision to enhance technology-enabled learning for the province, eCampusOntario aims to foster innovation, collaboration, and excellence on behalf of Ontario students through partnerships with member institutions. As part of Western’s participation, this website has been designed to facilitate student registration into Western courses found on the eCampusOntario website

Find Western's eCampus Ontario Courses

1. Search the ecampusontario.ca portal to find out which Western courses are available to eCampus Ontario visiting students. Make a list of 3-6 courses that you are interested in as we cannot guarantee that all courses will be offered in all terms. Watch for prerequisites! It will be up to you to ensure that you are prepared to take the course that you select.
   
   
2. To determine when your selected Western courses are offered, please visit Western's Timetables webpage.
   
   To expedite your search use the drop downs to select the “Subject” of your selected course and change “Course Delivery Type:” to “Distance Studies”.
   
   
3. If you find courses in the Western timetable that you would like to take and they are offered in the term of your choice, write down all of the information. You will need the Subject, Course Number, Course Title, Section and Class Nbr. Here’s an example of what the timetable will look like:
